The only thing I knew for sure about it was that it had bombed, and that usually meant the film was bad. Which brings up the other unique thing about the Channel 5 Movie Club. As far as I can tell, the night it aired on the Channel 5 Movie Club was the world broadcast premiere. For this reason I began watching less and less of Saturday Night Live and more and more of The Channel 5 Movie Club.
